A new Jump Shop has opened in Jimbocho Book Town, a neighborhood that has shaped Japan’s publishing culture.
A Jimbocho is now home to a fascinating new hub packed with the worlds and creativity of Weekly Shonen Jump.
In this new spot that captures the unique essence of Jimbocho, you’ll find merchandise made in surprise collaborations with well-known stores, latte-colored stuffed toys inspired by retro cafés, and goods featuring manga illustrations and the characteristic senkashi paper colors found in Weekly Shonen Jump.
POINT 01
Original merchandise and store decorations featuring the colors of senkashi paper
The pages of Weekly Shonen Jump are printed on a type of paper called senkashi. The store offers a wide range of original merchandise, including general-purpose notebooks, sticky notes, and tote bags featuring the three senkashi colors. The interior of the store is also decorated with these senkashi colors, along with objects and ornaments that capture the Jump spirit, offering an immersive experience that feels like you’ve stepped inside the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump.
POINT 02
Collaborations with well-known shops in Jimbocho
The shop offers original merchandise that brings together Jimbocho’s time-honored stores and Jump works. In addition to collaborations with the Chinese restaurant Shinsekai Saikan and the confectionery shop Sasama, we plan to launch more of unexpected tie-ins going forward. These special collaborations are only possible at the Jump Shop Jimbocho.
POINT 03
A diverse range of reproduced originals and framed artwork on display and for sale
At the shop, various framed artworks and posters are on display and available for sale, including reproduced originals.
By decorating your home with your favorite scenes, you can experience the world of each work on a whole new level.
